I never understood what it meant to be a grand mother until I became one.
One of the funniest thing I heard from a friend recently who also became a grand parent in the last year was: "For years people wanted to show me pictures of their grand children and tell me all about them, and all I could think was who cares", and yet here I am just dying to show my pictures and tell my stories.
