Okay folks - let's hope I win the power ball lottery tomorrow! I played my grand-girls' birthdays. It would be 68 million...enough to share with my quilting buddies ( OR at least buy them all a fat quarter)......LOL

Quilting retreat in 2 days.

I have been anticipating this trip since March. I am excited and nervous. I have fabric for all the"projects" & a few personal projects. I have pack & repacked. I have decided that all of these friends I am about to meet for the first time are "tocuhed" just a little, just like me. We are all checking our clothes & hand carrying our fabric on the planes. 3 glorious days in the NE, 30's overnight and 50's during the day. Carla one of the ladies said in a recent email: " We quilters are such a tactile bunch!" & Sue wrote: Getting very excited here in New Jersey!!! Don’t forget to bring comfy PJs, bathrobe, and slippers....nothing like being cozy and warm while sewing in the wee hours of the morning and late at night!! I believe I am in for a wonderful time...
